(Muhammad) 47 : 37
إِنْ يَسْأَلْكُمُوهَا فَيُحْفِكُمْ تَبْخَلُوا وَيُخْرِجْ أَضْغَانَكُمْ
If He were to ask you for it, it would burden you, and you would become niggardly, and He would expose your ill wills.
Filthy hypocrites are unwilling to spend wealth to acquire Adhikr—the Ticket to Paradise—and even if they acquire It, they do not utilize It properly. Spending must be under the Light of Adhikr, sincerely for Allah’s pleasure. Showboating and miserliness are inspired by Satan, who thereby leads people to Hellfire as explained in verses 4: 37-38. Whoever is saved from the covetousness of the soul, such are the prospers as told in verses 59: 9; and 64: 16. See explanation 2: 267-268; 25: 7; and 45: 13.
